FAB Desktop is licensed to and operated by FAB Solutions Limited (hereafter ‘FSL’). FSL deeply respects the privacy of our customers and visitors. Personal data about individuals, collected by FSL subscribers is maintained and protected for and on behalf of our subscribers. This information is not, and will not be used by FSL or any other third party. FSL maintains this information in a protected database for the sole purpose of providing the online FSL Portal Manager software system.

If you choose, we will be utilising your e-mail address to send you our newsletters and to alert you to special offers. This communication is targeted and intended to help you with your business needs related to the use of FSL.

Our relationship with you is important to us. If you have provided us with your contact information and do not wish to receive future e-mails, simply reply to the email with “Unsubscribe” in the subject line.

We keep track of IP host addresses solely for security purposes. All IP host addresses for which no security issues are identified are disposed of in a timely manner. We also keep track of daily page views to monitor traffic volume so that we can plan for future growth.

2. Our Use of Cookies
Cookies are small amounts of data that are sent to your browser from our web server and stored on your computer’s hard disk. Generally we use cookies to remind us of who you are. This will allow you to use our system without having to repeatedly type in your registration information. We also use cookies to help us track usage, traffic patterns and audience sizes. Comments

When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.

An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.

Media

If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.

If you request a password reset, your IP address will be included in the reset email.

How long we retain your data

If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.

For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.

What rights you have over your data

If you have an account on this site, or have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us.
